ACOUSTIC IN-STORE PERFORMANCES PLANNED FOR OTTAWA, TORONTO, LONDON, BURLINGTON, CALGARY, EDMONTON AND KELOWNA
Virgin/EMI Music Canada recording artist STABILO released their major label debut Cupid? on May 11th of this week. The band will be playing 18 dates across Canada as well as performing seven acoustic performances at select record retail stores..
STABILO (formerly Stabilo Boss) formed in Vancouver, British Columbia and are: Jesse Dryfhout (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar/Keyboard,) Chris Moerman (Vocals/Electric Guitar/Keyboard,) Karl Willaume (Bass) and Nathan Wylie (Drums.)
After selling thousands of copies of their independently released album (under the name Stabilo Boss), STABILO found themselves as the only indie band nominated in the Best New Rock Band category at the 2003 Canadian Radio Music Awards. Their self-produced single, “Everybody,” performed at their first ever show in 1996, hit the right chord with several radio stations around the country.
Cupid? has a total of seven songs and features the already familiar song “Everybody.”
