Stabilo's Celebrity Mix CD - iTunes. Stabilo chooses songs for their own Mix CD. (Thanks to Lizzie for posting this on the OMP forums):

1. Lost Cause – Beck.
“When I hear this song, I just picture someone giving up, but somehow at peace about it. Depressing and beautiful."

2. Change – Blind Melon.
“I love how this song was mixed. Very hard panning, if you unplug the right speaker you can listen to just the vocal track with mandolin and harmonica."

3. Sweet Song - Blur.
“After I heard this song, the only thing that came to mind was ‘what a sweet song’. So it’s not just a clever name.”

4. Buckets of Rain - Bob Dylan.
“Besides loving this song, I love how out of tune the guitar is. And, somehow, it just doesn’t matter.”

5. Nothing Gets Crossed Out – Bright Eyes
“This song is just so sad. It seems like it could have been written by a little kid.”

6. Red Red Red – Fiona Apple.
“I love the verse in this song about diamonds.”

7. Keep Falling – Hot Chip.
“I think it’s impossible not to move you feet when you hear this song. Or any other songs from these guys”

8. I’d Rather Dance With You – Kings of Convenience.
“Really like the lyrics and how it was sung. So tongue-in-cheek. And it’s got a beat you can tap your foot to.”

9. The Littlest Bird – The Be Good Tanya’s.
“I find it difficult to have a bad morning if I wake up to this song. It’s about as cheerful as it gets.”

10. Famous Blue Raincoat – Leonard Cohen.
“I heard this song first by Tori Amos covered it”

11. Which Way to Happy – The Magic Numbers.
“Love the vocal trade off and the guitar lines."

12. Ideas as Opiates – Tears for Fears.
“This was one of the first c.d’s I ever bought and this was the one song that my parents hated. So naturally it was my favorite.”

13. Nothing Better – The Postal Service
“The synth bass line in this song I would have to say is the coolest sound on the record.”

14. It's True That we Loved one Another - The White Stripes.
“I can't not sing along to this one.”

15. Kentucky Avenue – Tom Waits.
“Um I think its impossible for me to pick a favorite Tom Taits song, they’re all too good. He’s always reminiscing and telling the coolest stories.”
